‘Cozy Grove’ Developer Spry Fox Has Been Acquired by Netflix

Cozy Grove () developer Spry Fox who also previously released Triple Town and more has been acquired by Netflix. If you’ve been paying attention to mobile gaming over the last few months, you likely know how many quality games Netflix has brought to both iOS and Android. The company has also expanded its own game efforts through acquisitions and Spry Fox is now the sixth in-house game studio at Netflix. The official announcement also mentions that Spry Fox’s existing games will remain downloadable and available on their current platforms and the upcoming Cozy Grove 2 and non-violent MMO see no development changes. Netflix continues to make more moves in gaming, and I’m very curious to see how things play out for the company on iOS and Android over the next few months.
