Dragon Ball Super Is Back In Fortnite With New Piccolo And
Gohan Skins

Dragon Ball Super x Fortnite Gohan piccolo skins release date item shop

The official Fortnite Twitter account revealed yesterday that another Dragon Ball Super collaboration was coming to the battle royale and now, it's live.

It brings two new quests (with rewards) and a skin for both Piccolo and Gohan. You can purchase both in the Item Shop and each come with accessories. The Dragon Ball Super outfits and accessories from the first collaboration will arrive in the Item Shop again at a later unspecified date.

The Son Gohan outfit comes with Gohan's Cape Back Bling (can only be used with this outfit), but you can also purchase Gohan's Beast Axe Pickaxe and the Capsule No. 576 Glider seperately. The Piccolo outfit comes with Piccolo's Cape and Turban Back Bling (can only be used with this outfit) and Piccolo's Demon Symbol Back Bling, but you can also purchase Piccolo's Handheld House Pickaxe and the Red Ribbon Army Aircraft Glider. The Piccolo outfit features the built-in Charging Up Emote to change into the Power Awakening version of Piccolo (this version can also be selected in the locker).

If you buy the Son Gohan Bundle or the Piccolo Bundle, you'll also get the loading screen pictured below:

"In the v23.30 update, Son Gohan and Piccolo from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie make their Fortnite debut, the Kamehameha attack item, and the Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) mobility item are out of the vault, and Dragon Ball Adventure Island is back," an Epic Games press release reads. "Throughout each match in Battle Royale/Zero Build, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) items will fall from the sky in capsules.

"Launch a devastating energy beam with the Kamehameha, and with the Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun), take flight around the Island! The frequency of capsules will increase as the Storm closes in, meaning the end of each match will be primetime for an epic showdown."

Both items will remain in standard Battle Royale and Zero Build matches until v23.40.

Beyond battle royales, the Dragon Ball Adventure Island in Creative Mode is back. Like it did in August, this island features Goku's House, Kami's Palace, the Room of Spirit & Time, and Beerus' Planet. Plus, you can test your power in the Tenkaichi Budokai open PvP battle arena on the island as well.

Starting today, you can complete a Dragon Ball-themed Weekly Quest on this island to unlcok the Gohan Beast Spray, and on February 7, you can complete another Weekly Quest on the island to unlock the Orange Piccolo Spray (both pictured below). The island code is 5642-8525-5429.

This v23.30 update also introduces five new Reality Augments to the game:

  • Rift-jector Seat: Anytime your Shield breaks, you'll rift into the sky with a short delay.
  • Shadow Striker: Become able to get Shadow Bombs from containers
  • Icy Slide: Get a brief icy speed boost after sliding.
  • Harvester: Foliage you destroy will drop Big Bush Bombs and forageables. It also increases the effectiveness of eating forageables.
  • Mythic Munition: Obtain a Mythic Pistol.

Other aspects of this update include news that Weekly Quests will no longer expire after a week. Plus, All Chapter 4, Season 1 Weekly Quests will remain for the duration of the season.
